The largest European hotel operator, French Accor plans to open four hotels in Riga. On 1st May, Accor’s first Mercure Riga Centre Hotel was opened. Moreover, a five-star Pullman Riga Centre will appear at Jekaba Street. And two more economy-class hotels are planned. The project is implemented by investors, acting based on a franchise agreement.
While explaining why Accor chooses the Baltic States, Picheral stresses a favourable geographic location where several markets, the Scandinavian, European and Russian markets - overlap, and the dynamic development of the Baltic States.
